Q: What is Modular Construction?

Modular construction is a method of building in which up to 85% of the finished structure is manufactured in an indoor, climate-controlled factory. Sections of the home are transported to the housing site and each section is “set” on a standard foundation."
Q: Is Modular Construction better than Site-Built Construction?

Modular homes are stronger and better built than site-built homes. Imagine building a car piece by piece” outdoors. Ridiculous! Yes. Then why trust your single largest investment (your home) to a be built outdoors—subject to wood boring insects, wood rot, rain, sleet, and snow?
Q: Are Modular Homes built to any specific regulations?
A:
Modular homes are built to meet and or exceed the state and local regulations which apply to the site where the home is transported. In order to assure that each home passes inspection, every manufacturer's factory has a third-party inspection.

Modular homes have a number of warranty programs. All of our homes include a ten year warranty.

There is no distinction between Modular Built and Site Built homes as far as appraisal or financing. Banks, financial institutions, and mortgage companies treat both types of construction the same.
